Kashikiri Onsen Fuichizoku

894-1 Ohito, Izunokuni-shi, Shizuoka

Private onsen baths filled with fresh hot spring all the time

This day trip onsen facility in Izunokuni City features only private baths.

The place is also conveniently located along National Route 136, making it a suitable rest stop during a road trip or cycling tour.

Opened in 2019, the facility’s owner wanted to offer something different from regular onsens. Here you can relax in a private atmosphere all to your own.

The private baths here are drained and refilled with spring water after every use (a rare system outside of Kyushu), so you can enjoy a fresh, pristine bath every time.

Not only tattoos, but also those who have complex about their bodies, and those who have wounds, bruises, or surgical scars and are worried about being seen can use it without worries.

Also, families with babies who have not taken diapers or with small children can enjoy the hot spring without worrying about the surroundings.

There are 8 private bath rooms, each with a unique, exciting design. Bathing fees are calculated in half hour increments, with a minimum use of 1 hour. The fees are reasonable, amenities are replete, and rental of bath towels is available.

You can choose from a variety of private baths, including one that features 2 different open-air tubs, one with a deep tub where you can soak while standing, one with a reclining bath, one with a sauna and cold water bath, and even a rooftop bath that includes a swing set.

Every bath also has a rest space with a unique interior, such as a Japanese-style room reminiscent of a ryokan, a European-style room, and a chic room with a great view. You can choose the room that fits your fancy and group size.

You can also rent children’s toys for free from the reception area. You can bring and wear swimsuits to enjoy the bath like a private swimming pool for your group.

The facility has an attached cafe restaurant where you can order food to go and bring it inside the private bath. They serve healthy but delicious gluten-free dishes that make use of rice flour and soy milk.

The cafe restaurant has a spacious and stylish interior. It’s a great place to lounge in after a bath, and you can enjoy meals, sweets, and even alcoholic beverages.

If you have tattoos, please avoid exposing them to others when using the communal spaces. Please also observe proper manners, and do not cause trouble with other guests.

This is a great place to spend a relaxing time on your own, or with family, friends, or a special someone. Make sure to check their website and Instagram account for info on any seasonal events or promotions.
