On sunny days, Mt. Fuji and Mt. Ebushi can be seen in front of the scenic beach, and it is also known as a picture-spot.
It is also a mecca for scuba diving and marine sports, and it is crowded with many diving visitors throughout the year. There are many inns around the area, so tourists with families visit in the summer.
During the swimming season, it is prohibited to go sea kayaking, wind surfing, or jet skiing. Also, barbecues and camps are prohibited from 6/1 to 9/30.
