Enjoy a wide variety of hot springs including a cave bath!
It’s a long-established hot spring inn with impressive large white walls and black beams. The beautiful exterior reproduced the traditional architectural style from the Edo period.
In the hot springs, there is an inner bath and an open-air bath. Outside is a rock bath and an herbal bath. You can detox in the cave bath or heal your body in the herbal bath.
The bathtubs all use Kusatsu’s natural springs. The quality of the spring is pH 2.1, which is high in acidity but the hot water is soft and is gentle on the skin.
There are 3-types of rooms, “Kamiyashiki”, “New Nakayashiki” and “Nakayashiki”. Every room is quite spacious.
A 1-minute walk from the Kusatsu center / hot water field, a good location where you can wear a yukata and explore the spa town. Enjoy the hospitality of Kusatsu Onsen!
