A wooden three-storied Japanese-style inn located in front of Kusatsu’s famous symbol, “Yubatake”, The prestigious appearance of old-fashioned hot springs are impressive to see.

Here, precious antiques are displayed in the hall, and the traditional beauty of old Japanese art can be seen by guests.

There are only 11 rooms total where you can slowly relax. Among them, the rooms facing Kusatsu’s “Yubatake” are popular.

The hot springs were drawn from “Shirahata no Yu”, one of Kusatsu’s many sources of hot spring. It is also called “Waka no Yu” from the old days, Old tradition has it that, you will be blessed with a babys.

The water is a beautiful hue of a cloudy white with emerald green, which matches the cypress baths. The natural scent of soaked wood can help calm the mind.

The spring quality and the length of history has guests from three generations ago bringing their children and grandchildren back for more. Enjoy the views from the bath windows and take some time to relax!
