Takizawa Onsen Takizawakan

241 Takizawa, Kasukawa-machi, Maebash-shi, Gunma 滝沢温泉 滝沢館

Experience rare, carbonated bubbly hot springs in Kanto!

A hot spring resort located close to Akagi Shrine and behind a mountain.

On the banks of the river is an open-air bath full of nostalgia. Guests here can relax while listening to the murmuring of a stream.

The spring quality is a calcium, sodium, magnesium, bicarbonate cold spa. Due to weather, temperature and season, the color can change from transparent to a yellowish-brown or a cloudy semi-transparent white.

The pot-style bath located next to the open-air bath is the unusual carbonated spring where you can experience a millions of tiny bubbles stick on your body while soaking.

Because it is a cold spa of 24.5 °C, alternating between the open-air bath and the pot-style bath is recommended to stimulate the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves for health promotion.

The cuisine is a variety of homemade rural dishes using seasonal wild dishes and river fish.
