A bath house popular for its soft water and open-air bath

This sento bath house inside a building is located just 1 minute on foot from the nearest bus stop. From Shinjuku, you can take a 40 minute ride on the Keio Line to Chofu Station, then take the bus to the Yamano bus stop. It also has a parking lot, convenient if you are coming by car.

After entering the building and taking off your shoes, take the elevator to the 3rd floor reception counter. There are no amenities in the bath, but you can buy them at the counter.

There is a wide range of amenities available for sale, from skin care products to underwear. You can also buy an amenity set that includes the bare essentials for bathing.

This place uses soft water for all its baths and showers. It has a slight viscosity similar to moisture lotion. It will cleanse and moisturize your skin as well as add shine to your hair. It will also keep your body warm after a bath.

There are two bath areas: Tsuki-no-Shizuku which has designs based on the moon, and Oasis which has a theme of healing and gathering. The two areas alternate for men and women every week.

Both bath areas feature a variety of bath types, such as a high-pressure bubble bath, a concentrated carbonated bath, a reclining bath, and a medicinal bath. You can also go up the stairs to the 4th floor to find a spacious open-air bath.

Since there are no tall buildings around, the open-air bath offers a great view, and you might even see Mt. Fuji on clear days. Gazing at the sunset at dusk or the starry sky at night while bathing gives you a truly luxurious bath time.

For a separate 200 yen fee, you can use an infrared sauna at Tsuki-no-Shizuku or a rocky sauna at Oasis. You can use the sauna in alternate with the cold water bath or open-air bath to regulate your body temperature.

Located nearby is the nature-rich Jindaiji Temple, and you can walk around to enjoy the local shops or the Jindaiji Soba noodles specialty. It’s conveniently accessible and is a great spot to refresh yourself.
